Honors & Awards

  • 2021 AAI Young Investigator Award

I am an Immunology Graduate Student who joined the Jabbari Lab in May 2021. My hometown is Solon, Iowa and I went to Iowa State for my undergraduate degree (Go Cyclones!!). After graduating, I joined Dr. Songhai Chen’s lab in the Dept. of Pharmacology at the University of Iowa. There I worked as a research assistant investigating the role of GPCR-interacting proteins in cancer progression and immune cell function. With a newly discovered passion for immunology, I joined the Interdisciplinary Graduate Program in Immunology in 2020. In my free time I enjoy playing Pokémon Go, and hiking around Lake MacBride.

Research areas
  • I am interested in exploring the role of Regulatory T Cells in Alopecia Areata, and how manipulating them can affect disease outcomes.
