Biography
I am currently a research technician in the lab. I originate locally from Iowa City and decided that I would stay in town to be a Hawkeye at the University of Iowa! I joined Jabbari Lab in the fall of 2021 with an interest in doing dermatology lab research and have since gained a growing interest in the field of immunology. In my spare time, I enjoy playing the piano, taking care of my plants, and crafting while listening to audiobooks.
Research areas
- My research area is being developed as a volunteer, but I assist on smaller projects involved in the understanding of immune privilege of the hair follicle and how that contributes to Alopecia Areata.
